Description

When you need to interface two devices with different I/OInput/Output voltage levels, such as a 3.3V device to a 5V device, then some external circuitry is required to perform voltage level shifting/conversion in order to protect the 3.3V device from 5V. The bi-directional level converter shifts a high voltage signal to a low voltage signal and viceversa.
