Pro Mini Atmega328P 5V 16MHz Microcontroller Board Products

Description

The Pro Mini 5V 16MHz microcontroller board has the ATmega328P MCUMicrocontroller Unit used in the Arduino Uno R3, but in a small form factor to fit inside an enclosure. There is no USB connector and USB-to-Serial converter on the board to make it as small as possible and minimize the cost, so a USB Serial Adapter or another microcontroller board with UARTUniversal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter is required to program the board.

Processor

The 5V Pro Mini has an 8-bit 16MHz AVRAVR microcontrollers derives its name from its developers and stands for, Alf-Egil Bogen and Vegard Wollan RISC microcontroller, and is also known as Advanced Virtual RISC. processor with Advanced RISCReduced Instruction Set Computer architecture. The default clock speed is 16MHz, but it can go up to a maximum speed of 20MHz.

Power

There are three different power related pins: VCC, RAW, and GND.

• RAW is the input voltage that runs into the regulator and can be anywhere from 5V to 16V (6V to 12V recommended) with a maximum current of 150mA at 5V.
• VCC is supplied directly to the ATmega328P, so any voltage applied to that pin should already be regulated to 5V (6V max, 200mA max).
• GND is the common/ground/0V reference.
