Adafruit Trinket 3.3V ATtiny85 Microcontroller Board Products

Description

The Adafruit Trinket ATtiny85 3.3V microcontroller board breaks out the ATtiny85 MCUMicrocontroller Unit chip on a small board with a trinket form factor (1.2in x 0.6in). The board includes a Micro-B USB connector for power and programming, reset button, green power LEDLight Emitting Diode, and red user LED. There are two solder pads on the back of the board that you can optionally solder on a 2-Pin JST PH connector to power the board from an external battery.

Power

The board can be powered with 5V using the Micro-B USB connector. There are also a few power related pins.

• BAT+ input pin is used if you want to power the board with an external battery. Connect the + battery terminal here and the - battery terminal to Gnd ground pin. The input range is 3.5V to 16V DC. This input is reverse-polarity protected.
• USB+ output pin is connected to the USB power line.
• 3V output pin is the 3.3V regulated output voltage (150mA) from the onboard regulator.
• Gnd pin is the common/ground/0V reference.
