Description

Eletret and MEMSMicro-Electro-Mechanical Systems is a technology that combines electronic and moving parts in microscopic devices. condenser microphones are two of the main types of sound sensors that convert sound waves into electric signals. Electret microphones are more sensitive and have a wider frequency response, but are larger size and external circuitry is needed to amplify the signal. MEMS microphones are much smaller and have built-in circuitry to amplify and digitize the output signal.
