Ported Pressure Sensor Products

Description

Ported pressure sensors can connect to a soft tube (typically 2.5mm in diameter) to measure water level or air pressure. There are two main types of pressure sensors: relative and absolute.

Relative pressures sensors measure the pressure difference from the surrounding atmospheric pressure, where readings can change due to weather conditions, altitude, or other external factors. The most common ported relative pressure sensors are the MPS20N0040D and MPRLS.

Absolute pressure sensors measure pressure relative to a fixed reference point, typically a vacuum. They are not influenced by changes in ambient pressure and provide a precise measurement regardless of the surrounding environment. A common absolute ported pressure sensor is the MPX5700AP.
