Time Of Flight (TOF) Distance Sensor Products

Description

Time Of Flight (TOF) non-contact distance sensors are an all-in-one (emitter, receiver, and processor) system that provides a digital output of the distance. They contain a small laser source with a matching receiving sensor to measure how long the transmitted light has taken to bounce back to the sensor. They typically use a narrow light source (around 15° to 30°) for determining distance of a surface directly in front of it. As shown in the table below, different TOF distance sensors have their own ranges, FOV, and data sampling rates. All the sensors listed below communicate through I2C.
