LiDAR Distance Sensor Products

Description

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors use a focused light beam, such as a laser, to measure distance. The sensor emits a light beam and measures the time, intensity, angle, and/or phase of the reflected beam. By repeating this process many times per second while sweeping the beam around, the data can be used to build a point cloud as a 3D map of the environment. As shown in the table below, different LiDAR modules have their own ranges, accuracy, data sampling rates, and the type of communication interface.
