Description
The CC1101 433MHz RF transceiver boards are based on the TI CC1101 ICIntegrated Circuit. These modules are designed to work in the ISMIndustrial, Scientific, and Medical radio bands and SRDShort Range Device frequency band of 387MHz to 464MHz. It has a maximum range between 600 meters to 800 meters in open air. Transmission communication is half-duplex and supports 2-FSK2-Level Frequency-Shift Keying (2-FSK) is a frequency modulation where the carrier is shifted between two discrete frequencies to transmit binary (0s and 1s) information. It is also referred to as Binary Frequency-Shift Keying (BFSK)., 4-FSK4-Level Frequency-Shift Keying (2-FSK) is a frequency modulation where the carrier is shifted between two discrete frequencies. It is also referred to as Quadrature Frequency-Shift Keying (QFSK)., GFSKGaussian Frequency-Shift Keying modulation, OOKOn-Off Keying modulation, and MSKMinimum-Shift Keying modulation modulations. The air data rate is programmable between 0.6kbpskilobits per second and 500kbpskilobits per second with built-in hardware CRCCyclic Redundancy Check error detection to ensure reliable data transmission.
The data interface uses a four-wire SPISerial Peripheral Interface (SCKSerial Clock line, MISOMaster In Slave Out (MISO) is the SPI data output line from the slave device, MOSIMaster Out Slave In (MOSI) is the SPI data output line from the master device, CSNChip Select (CSN) is the SPI output line from the master device to indicate that data is being sent. Also referred to as CS or SS (Slave Select).), a digital output pin (GDO2), and a digital I/OInput/Output pin (GDO0). It has a programmable power output capability up to +12dBmDecibel-milliwatts (dBm) is a power level that expresses decibels in terms of milliwatts on a logarithmic scale. and sensitivity down to -110dBmDecibel-milliwatts (dBm) is a power level that expresses decibels in terms of milliwatts on a logarithmic scale. at 1200bpsbits per second. There is also a built-in analog temperature sensor. The voltage supply range is 1.8V to 3.6V DC with a transmission current of 30mA (peak) and receiving current of 15mA.

Accessories
433MHz Antennas
The CC1101 433MHz module has an female SMA connector for an external antenna for increased range or to modify the position of the antenna. If the board does not come with an antenna or you want a different antenna (e.g., more power or compact size), you will need a mating male SMASubMiniature version A (SMA) connector 433MHz antenna like those listed below.
